Meet Mel

WHY I DECIDED TO RUN MY OWN CREATION STATION… After having my daughter, Emi, I needed to find a job that suited my family more. My son, Oscar, and I had also been to some Creation Station classes when he was smaller and enjoyed them so much. I wanted to bring that joy to others!

WHAT  I DID BEFORE I RAN MY OWN CREATION STATION… For much of my career I supported adults with learning disabilities then made the move into a pharmacy after Oscar was born as the hours were a bit better. I also trained as a birth doula!

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT RUNNING MY OWN CREATION STATION… I love being able to nurture creativity and spark joy in my sessions. 🙂

SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME… I like to guess what a person is like by their favourite shape of pasta. (Spirali is mine!)

THINGS I LOVE DOING… I love music and singing (I always have something in my head), cuddling my cat, going to IKEA, writing on whiteboards and I am not ashamed of my TikTok obsession.

MY FAVOURITE JOKE… Two muffins in an oven, one turns to the other and says “gosh it’s getting hot in here!”  The other replies “AAHHH A TALKING MUFFIN!!”

MY FAVOURITE FOOD…  There’s probably nothing better than a good roast!
