Why I decided to run my own Creation Station… I’ve always loved being creative—whether through painting, sketching, or planning themed birthday parties. During lockdown, I rediscovered my passion for oil painting, which became a wonderful mood booster. As a teacher and SENCo, I’ve seen firsthand how creativity supports mental well-being, and when I came across The Creation Station at the International Franchise Fair, I knew it was the perfect way to combine my love for art with my passion for helping others.

What I did before I ran my own Creation Station… My journey started in finance and banking before I took a break to raise my children. As they grew, I became involved in their schools, trained as a primary teacher, and worked as a teacher and SENCo in nurseries before joining The Creation Station.

What I love about running my own Creation Station… Every day is different, exciting, and full of learning! Running my own business gives me the freedom to shape my journey while being part of a supportive and inspiring network. I love the variety of working with different age groups and making a real impact through creativity.

Things I love doing… Travelling, reading, cooking, painting, socialising with family and friends, and exploring nature—especially finding new places to be inspired!

Something you may not know about me…I love travelling around the world! I’ve had some incredible experiences, including bottle-feeding a tiger cub and even taking a camel ride across the desert. Each adventure has given me a new perspective and inspired my creativity in unexpected ways!

My favourite joke…Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field!

My favourite quote… “Happiness is like jam—you can’t spread even a little without getting some on yourself!”

My favourite food… Chocolate cake! I definitely have a sweet tooth and love trying desserts from around the world.
