Meet Cathy

Why I decided to run my own Creation Station… I’m passionate about inspiring imagination and bringing people together through hands-on creativity. I’ve always believed that art and craft have the power to boost confidence, encourage self-expression, and create joyful connections—no matter your age or ability.

What I did before I ran my own Creation Station… Over 27 years, I was a primary school class teacher, Head of Faculty, Nursery Manager in Nurseries and schools around South Africa, the UK and the United Arab Emirates.

What I love about running my own Creation Station… I love having the freedom to bring imaginative ideas to life and inspire creativity in people of all ages. Seeing the joy and confidence that hands-on crafting brings to others makes every moment worthwhile!

Something you may not know about me… When I was younger, I completed a scuba diving qualification in Mozambique and flew tandem on a microlight aircraft.

My favourite Quote… This too, Shall Pass.

My favourite food… I’ve ALWAYS been a bangers and mash girl but anything chocolate will probably win!
