Hi, I’m Anna, a busy mum of two children (Elliott and Amelia), who have always been very crafty… in both senses of the word!

Why I decided to run my own Creation Station… I decided to take the leap and run my own Creation Station franchise to make more time for myself and my family, working hours that suit our daily schedule. I wanted to be more involved in my children’s school life, saying ‘yes’ to sports days, class assemblies and parent-helper days.

What I did before I ran my own Creation Station… Before Creation Station, I was a primary school teacher for almost 17 years and the school Art and Design lead. I have always loved teaching, especially art lessons, and feel so lucky to now do this full time!

What I love about running my own Creation Station… There are so many things I love about running my own Creation Station! The bonds with the children and families who attend my clubs are fantastic, the look of amazement on the children’s faces when they create something fantastic, and watching my quieter ‘Clubbers’ grow in confidence week on week are just a few of them.

Something you may not know about me… For many years, in my younger, more rebellious days, I had bright pink hair and (at last count) 12 piercings. I’m far more sensible now!

My favourite joke… Why did Harry Potter bring a pencil to class?  Because he wanted to draw his wand! ✏️🪄😂

My favourite food…  My favourite food is sandwiches, because you can fill them with ALL of your favourite foods! I’m not sure if that’s technically cheating though!
