How to make a model peg plane

Here are some ideas to help you make your own peg plane.

1. Decorate the two big lolly sticks using paint or felt tip pens. These will be the wings of your plane.

2. Decorate the smaller lolly stick which will be the tail wing. Be as creative as you like.

Decorate the lolly sticks

3. Colour in the peg.

4. Glue the wings (big lolly sticks) onto both sides of the top of the peg. (The handles of the peg).

Assemble your plane and stick with glue

5. Glue the tail wing to the bottom of the peg. (The gripper part of the peg.)

Your plane is ready to fly!

If you like you can attach string around the wings to hang your peg plane.

Finish your plane
