How To Make A Fun Melon Pencil Holder

To make your melon pencil holder follow the following steps.

You will need:

  • Cardboard
  • White, green and red A4 coloured card (if you don’t have this you can colour in white paper with felt pens)
  • Glue
  • Black felt pen

Instructions

  1. Take a piece of cardboard and cut it into a circle with a 5cm diameter
  2. Take the red card and glue along the long lengths to cover an area of 4cm.
  3. Attach a narrow 2cm strip of the green card along either edge of the red card.
  4. Glue a narrow strip of the white card next to the strips of green card.
  5. Take a marker and draw small ‘seed-like’ marks all over the red section
  6. Roll the paper along the circular cardboard forming a cylinder and glue it in place.
