Be inspired by Wendy and Theo’s ideas.

What You Will Need:

  • Paper straws
  • Sticky tape
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Ruler

Here are some ideas for creating an Eiffel Tower:

1. Cut two paper straws in half, making four pieces.

2. Tape these together at one end.

Join 4 straws together

3. Using more paper straws make an 8cm by 8cm square.

4. Make another square 6cm by 6cm.

5. Take the four pieces of straw that you have already taped, open them out and tape the 8cm square near the base.

Slide the square onto the 4 straws

Add the smaller square

8. Trim the top and add a small straw to make the spire.

9. Decorate your tower with pipe cleaners.

6. Now take the 6cm square slide it down your model, so it’s about a third of the way up and tape to the legs.

7. Tape four straws to make the top of the tower longer.
