“I have been involved in education for the past 13 years, through both primary and secondary teaching of art and DT, plus facilitating Arts Award programmes at all levels. My love of working with children and the creative arts has never once faltered, however the education system has changed so much over the years that I made the decision to change my career path and The Creation Station has provided me with the perfect opportunity to do that!”
“There is nothing better than to see a smile on someone’s face when they look at something they have created, however big or small, elaborate or not, and that smile is what truly drives me. The variety of classes and programmes on offer through Creation Station allows me the opportunity to engage with all different ages and types of people and see each and every one take away someone new they have learned or mastered with pride.”
I wholeheartedly agree that “being creative is not a hobby it’s a way of life” and throughout my life I have used creative activities and sport to allow me to keep a good well being balance. Spending time with my family is also so important to me and The Creation Station enables me to do this whilst also supporting precious moments in other’s family time too, through hosting memorable birthday parties and community events where everyone gets involved!”
