Your Baby Discover classes provide your baby with essential early years learning and development experiences. Plus there are lots of journeys of creative play, treasured keepsakes and new friendships created too.
The copyrighted educational Baby Discover programmes have been carefully developed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework for the Curriculum and for Excellence 4 Capacities in Scotland.
Creative play with your baby provides them with a strong foundation, develops bonding and helps your baby discover their world.. and much, much more!

HOW THE BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS WORK
Your Baby Discover classes run during term times and often in the holidays as well.
In some locations, as well as the option to pay in advance for classes, you now have the option to pay with a NEW Pay Monthly option. Your monthly amount is calculated based on the number of classes running in a year divided by twelve months. (Please note - you can cancel your pay monthly plan anytime).
This new pay monthly plan option provides you with the following:
- Spread The Cost - Rather than paying all upfront, you can now build this into a manageable monthly budget.
- Best Value - You receive a special 10% discount
- Priority Booking - Your child is automatically booked into the next programme so you never lose your space
- Hassle-Free - You don't have to plan, organise or remember to book your child classes. As they graduate from one class, we will automatically enrol your child in their next class

Each week your baby and you will enjoy journeys of discovery, exploration and development, in a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
Each programme of classes have been carefully developed, tried and tested to give your baby and you shared fun, educational and bonding experiences that you will both LOVE!
The programmes run during term times with additional activities running in holidays in some locations. During the classes, your baby will experiment and play with a range of safe and suitable art and craft materials. All your classes are delivered by our friendly, DBS checked, First Aid and Health and Safety trained leaders.
SCRUNCHY CRUNCHY BUMPY HANDS-ON DISCOVERY
(Running from Sept to Dec ‘21 in England and Wales. Running from August to Dec ’21 in Scotland)
Help your baby explore and discover the wonderful world of textures. Your baby will enjoy lots of creative journeys in this fun hands-on programme. Activities may include the following…
- Splodge & Splat – Create a life-size painting and collage of your baby together.
- Sparkle & Crackle - Paint and print on different textures to create a very unique and personalised baby-safe mirror.
- Cold & Frosty - Explore the stars at night and create a hand-print star mobile
- Soft & Bubbly - Explore see-through tubes of bubbles and create your own Baby on Board sign
- Creative Christmas - Create and treasure your baby’s hand and foot-prints on Christmas name tags and Christmas cards

COLOURFUL CREATIONS
(Running from Jan ’ 2 to March/April ’22)

- Explore & Discover Squares – Explore, paint and print squares with cubes, and create your own fluttering shape mobile
- Explore & Discover Semi-Circles – Create funnels and enjoy pouring lots of different materials. Create your own hat or pop up puppet
- Explore & Discover Circles – Help the balls get covered in paint to create your own rolling paint artwork and make your own collaged circle friend
- Explore & Discover hearts – Create a special heart artwork for fathers day or for people your baby loves

Here are the seven areas of learning your baby will be able to take part in their Baby Discover Classes.
1.Communication and Language Development
Your baby class will give your baby the opportunity to experience a varied language environment. This will help to develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves; and to speak and listen in a range of situations.
2. Physical Development
Your baby will be able to enjoy being active and interacting with safe tools and materials. They will begin to develop their coordination, control, and movement.
3. Personal, Social And Emotional Development
We will support you to give your baby a positive sense of themselves and to develop have confidence in their own abilities.
4. Literacy Development
Your baby will learn to start making marks, enjoy getting creative alongside storytelling and experience a range of sensory experiences to ignite their interest.
5. Mathematics
Even at a very young age, your baby will start to become familiar with counting, they will start to understand and use numbers and identify and sort shapes.
6. Understanding Their World
Your classes will help your baby to begin to make sense of their physical world with opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, things and the environment.
7. Expressive Arts And Design
Your baby be able to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials, as well as providing opportunities to move and dance.
