Mandy spent 14 years inspiring little ones as a Teaching Assistant in Nursery and Reception classes. With a family of small business owners, she was drawn to working for herself and bringing fun, creative play and exploration to her community. She now runs award-winning, fun, creative art and craft classes, after-school clubs, parties and events for all ages in Bloxwich and Pelsall.
Mandy is most definitely THE person to speak to for keeping your little ones creative and entertained!
We asked Mandy to share why she loved providing creative activities in her community – this is what she said…
Why did you want to run your own business?
“I come from a family of small business owners and always fancied having a go myself. I have always loved the creative activities that we planned whilst working in schools, and thought how lovely it would be to do painting and sticking all day.”
What attracted you to The Creation Station?
“I liked the idea of a franchise as it gives you a little bit of a head start with your business and a lot of credibility. I’m passionate that children should learn through play and exploration – it’s such a fabulous way for everyone to express themselves. There’s no right or wrong and the fun is all in the process and the pride in the outcome.”
Describe your highlights so far…
“I really loved my first birthday arty party. I wasn’t sure quite what to expect but it was really lovely. The parents were so grateful at the end and said they couldn’t have hoped for a better party.”
“I love the variety of activities I offer. From children’s classes right through to adult crafting. No two days are the same!”

How do you feel about the future?
“I love running my own Creation Station. It’s a really exciting challenge for me and I feel super proud of myself for providing a fab service. I have a busy festive programme coming up and will also be at Pelsall Christmas Fayre.”
“I absolutely love my after-school ‘Create Clubs’ and can’t wait to launch extra clubs in the new year!”
