Four people have changed their career paths and are now running their own creative arts and crafts activity business, The Creation Station franchise. They have completed a comprehensive five-day training programme, spent time with their business buddy, met the head office team and their Regional, Business Development Manager. They have also delved into the wealth of resources on Treasure Trove and have already planned their first classes.
Gillian Wham has a background in digital design and is mum to two girls. Gillian and the girls had enjoyed attending Creation Station classes previously. The demand for classes is soaring and there was a Creation Station franchise opportunity available in Gillian’s area. Gillian decided now was the time to run her own rewarding business plus gain the flexibility she wants, to be there for her girls.
“It is almost impossible to book into classes in my area. We can get one class here and there but it’s the regular attendance of classes that really benefit children. So, I’m thrilled to be able to bring creative classes to Ayr plus my girls love getting creative so I already have two very keen helpers! I can’t wait to get started”. Gillian runs the Creation Station art and crafts classes, parties, and events in Ayr, Prestwick, Troon and surrounding areas.
Amy Jordan worked as a History teacher in secondary school. Amy loved her career but was ready for a change. When her son Charlie was born during lockdown, Amy decided she was ready to do something that still helped children develop but that also gave her more time with her son.
Amy said “It’s wonderful to see how children develop when they are engaged with the subject. I am delighted to be able to spark children’s curiosity, help them learn, and have fun getting messy along the way! I’m also really looking forward to offering creative craft sessions for adults in the community.” Amy runs the Creation Station art and crafts classes, parties, clubs and events in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Hilton, Melbourne and the surrounding areas.
Jagdeep Arora is a designer and ran a successful fashion label and company. Over the years Jag has been looking at the sustainability of fashion and decided he wanted to do something that added more value to children’s lives. As a dad to six-year-old twins, he has certainly experienced what it’s like to be a busy parent.
“I love how my two kids can both play but very differently, each one exploring and experimenting in their own way. I’m thrilled I’m now able to provide positive, educational, and fun activities to engage and inspire so many children within my community.”

Louisa Ridley enquired about the Creation Station over four year ago, but the idea of running her own rewarding and flexible creative business has never gone away.
“Since I came across The Creation Station I have loved their values and ethos. However, being away from home for five days to complete the training was just not practical for me. When they announced that the training was now online – I was so excited! It meant that I could at last run my own creative and flexible business whilst still being able to prioritise my family commitments.” Louisa runs the Creation Station arts and crafts classes, parties club, and events in Uckfield, Crowborough and Heathfield and surrounding areas.
We are super proud to welcome Gillian, Louisa, Amy, and Jag to our V.I.P. ‘Very Inspirational People’ franchise family.
