Meet Kamaljit Popat, or Kam, by all who know her. With a background as a secondary school art teacher and a love for all things creative, Kam is on a mission to bring more creativity into the lives of children and adults in Romford and Chadwell Heath through her new Creation Station franchise.
A Love for Creativity
Kam’s passion for the arts has been a lifelong journey. From her school days, she has always been involved in creative activities, and for the past 14 years, she’s been passing that passion on to her students as a dedicated art teacher.
"I believe everyone should have access to the arts," Kam shares, "It allows you to grow into a well-rounded person and express yourself freely."
For Kam, creativity is more than just a fun activity – it’s a way to think outside the box and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
With this mindset, she has joined The Creation Station, ready to inspire a new generation of creative kids in her local area.
A New Venture for Work-Life Balance
Like many, Kam sought a new career path that allowed her more freedom and flexibility. Through The Creation Station, Kam found the perfect opportunity to combine her love for art with her desire to help kids thrive creatively.
Supported by her family, especially her husband Vip and their two children Amaari and Dhevan, Kam has launched her own franchise covering the Chadwell Heath and Romford area.
She’s excited to watch her business grow and can’t wait to see what amazing creations her local community will come up with!
Why The Creation Station?
Kam discovered The Creation Station while searching for art classes for her daughter. When she couldn’t find any in her area, she explored the possibility of running her own franchise and knew it was the perfect fit.
"The Creation Station encourages and nurtures creativity without the pressure of grades," Kam says. "That really resonated with me."
Kam attended a Discovery Morning, where she was struck by how uplifting and supportive the team at The Creation Station was.
"The training was so knowledgeable and detailed, and I felt that I would always have the support I needed," Kam explains. It was this positive environment that sealed the deal and led her to start her own creative business.

Kam is thrilled to be part of The Creation Station and can’t wait to see what children and adults will create in her sessions.
"I love seeing every single creation, regardless of skill level. I want everyone to love creating without worrying about meeting a certain standard," she says.
With a wide variety of tools and materials at her disposal, Kam is excited to offer endless possibilities for creative expression in her community.
She knows that The Creation Station’s unique approach will help inspire imaginations and bring joy to children and adults alike.
