Wendy and Theo the mouse help you get creative this spring with a fun and original way to make your own fluffy chick!

How to makea fluffy chick

We LOVE  these cute little fluffy chicks and they are surprisingly easy to make. Follow these steps and enjoy creating your own little creatures.

What You Will Need:

  • Yellow Wool/Acrylic Yarn
  • Scissors
  • Orange Card
  • Glue
  • Goggly Eyes

What To Do:

  • Cut off two strands of yarn and put it aside. Wrap new yarn around three fingers one hundred times and then cut.
  • Gently slide the yarn off your fingers and place on-top of one of the previously cut strands.
  • Tightly tie a knot around the yarn.
  • Cut the loops which will make a ball shape. Trim the ball to get it as smooth as you can. This will be the body of the chick.
  • To make the head - wrap the yarn around two fingers seventy times and cut. Repeat instruction 3 and 4.
  • Glue the head on top of the body.
  • Take the orange card and draw two feet and then cut them out. Cut out a small triangle from the orange card to make the beak. Glue the feet to the base of the body. Bend in two of the corners and glue to the head.
  • Glue on two small goggly eyes and there we have it - an Easter Chick. An egg-cellent friend!
