How To Make A Juggling Pom-Pom and Carnival Wristband

Be inspired by Wendy and Theo’s ideas.

What You Will Need:

  • Netting strips
  • Scissors

Here are some ideas to create juggling pom-pom balls. 

  1. Cut a thin piece of netting and put it to one side.
  2. Choose your colour and wrap the netting around your hand fifty times and cut.

 

Wrap the netting around your hand – then slide it off your hand holding the centre in place.

3. Slide off your hand and tie the thin piece of netting around in a very tight knot.

4. Cut the loops.

5. Trim the netting to get an even ball shape.

You are now ready juggle!

Shape the ball to create a juggling ball.

Make A Carnival Wristband

  1. Cut three different colour pieces of netting roughly 40cm long and then cut different pieces of netting double the length of your hand.
  2. Take the three pieces (40cm) tie in a knot at one end and then braid all the way down to the end.
  3. Tie in a loop big enough to fit around your wrist.

Plait and make a loop.

4. Take one piece of netting at a time, thread through the braid and tie in a knot.

5. Keep going until you have strands of netting all around the braid.

Put it on your wrist and you are now ready to PARTY!!

 

Tie on the netting ont the loop.
