How To Make A Flower Card

To join in the fun at home, the items you need and the guide to help you create your own are below.

You Will Need:

• A4 White Card.

• Purple, Yellow & Green Card (or whatever colour you want to make your flowers).

• Purple Tissue Paper (or whatever colour you want to make the middle of your flowers).

• Green Paper Straws.

• Sticky Tape.

• White Paper.

• Felt Tip Pens.

• Glue.

• Scissors

• Pencil Or Pen.

Take a white piece of paper and fold it in half, then fold it on half again.

Take the yellow card and cut out a small circle.

What To Do:

1. Fold the A4 white card in half and put to one side.

2. Draw 4 small hearts onto the purple card. Cut out the hearts and glue them together so they look like a flower.

3. Take the yellow card and cut out a small circle. Make small cuts around the outside of the circle to give a feathered effect and glue onto your flower. Stick a small tissue paper ball in the middle and your flower is complete!

4. Make four more flowers so you have five. Cut the green paper straws to different lengths and using sticky tape, stick them to the back of your flowers.

5. Take the green card and cut out 3 leaves. Using sticky tape, stick your leaves onto the straws.

6. Arrange your flowers into a bunch, tape them together and now stick onto your white card.

7. Take a square piece of paper, decorate with felt tip pens and glue it over your straws. Now your beautiful flower card is complete. Don’t forget to write a message inside to someone special!
