Eid Colouring In Sheet Download

There are two Islamic holidays celebrated each year, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, the names often get shortened to Eid.

Eid al-Fitr, means the ‘festival of breaking of the fast’. This marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting.

Eid al-Adha means the ‘feast of sacrifice’ and is considered to be the holier of the two festivals. Muslims will celebrate this in most countries for four days.

We were privileged to talk with the talented Marwan Taher and Mohamed Moamen from Egypt, about bringing ‘new creative experiences with experience’ to parts of Egypt. Creativity spans all languages, cultures and ages. It is always so positive to connect across the seas to bring creativity into learning, leisure and life.

So how do you wish someone a Happy Eid?

Eid Mubarak means blessed celebration and is the most common greeting.

Depending on where you are your friends or family live, you can also use the following:

  • Barka da Sallah – used in some parts of Nigeria.
  • Ciid wanaagsan – used in Somalia.
  • Mutlu Bayramlar – commonly used in Turkey.
  • Selamat Idul Fitri – used in Indonesia.
  • Selamat Hari Raya – used in Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore.

Join in the celebrations with this fun activity download. Think about what colours and patterns to add to the buildings and what you can add to the sky to create a bright and cheerful image.
