Why I decided to run my own Creation Station… I left a long career in teaching to try and engage with more members of my local community and running my own Creation Station franchise has enabled me to do just that; I love the variety of my work life so much now!

What I did before I ran my own Creation Station… I have always worked in creative industries including fashion and textiles and then taking this experience with me to teach both primary and secondary delivering art and design.

What I love about running my own Creation Station…There is nothing better than to see a smile on someone’s face when they look at something they have created, however big or small, elaborate or not, and that smile is what truly drives me.  The variety of classes and programmes on offer through Creation Station allows me the opportunity to engage with all different ages and types of people and see each and every one take away someone new they have learned or mastered with pride.

I wholeheartedly agree that “being creative is not a hobby it’s a way of life” and throughout my life I have used creative activities and sport to allow me to keep a good well being balance.  Spending time with my family is also so important to me and The Creation Station enables me to do this whilst also supporting precious moments in other’s family time too, through hosting memorable birthday parties and community events where everyone gets involved!

My favourite food… Got to be chocolate!
