I am a mum to an energetic, sweet wild four-year-old, whose enthusiasm for life has helped me to re-find my love for art and craft. I am also lucky enough to be part of a big supportive family including being an auntie to nine nieces and nephews, so life is always chaotic and full of laughter and fun.
Why I decided to run my own Creation Station.
I decided to run my own creation station to have the freedom to work around my own family and for myself to enjoy a job that sparks an enthusiasm and excitement to encourage others find their creative.
What I did before I ran my own Creation Station…
I worked with children for twenty years mainly as a nanny and was lucky to work in kindergartens in both Australia and New Zealand.
What I love about running my own Creation Station…
I love the excitement of something different, the new challenges and I believe that the freedom and mindfulness you can experience from losing yourself and releasing your uniqueness in art can be rewarding and to be able to do this with others and make connections through something you love is amazing.
Something you probably don’t know about me.
My love of travelling took me to Africa for six weeks with The Luhimba Project in Weston that supports a local community village in Luhimba, Tanzania.
Things I love doing…
I love listening to music and dancing with my daughter. I love to read and have always had a love of travelling. I enjoy spending time with family and friends especially being outdoors.
My favourite Quote…
“Art enables us find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time” Thomas Merton
My favourite food…
Chocolate, Italian food and ice cream.
