Before starting my own Creation Station, I spent some time working in finance while also running a little arty hobby business on the side. Before that, I worked in children’s nurseries, which was always a rewarding experience. I’ve always had a deep love for arts and crafts, and it’s been a big part of my life in one way or another through the years.

I decided to start my own Creation Station because the company’s values really spoke to me and it was clear when talking to other franchisees how much they truly carried that into everything they do. I was looking for a way to grow my passion for arts and crafts, become my own boss, have a role that truly benefits other people and have something I could share with my children. The Creation Station has given me all of that and so much more.

I truly love and feel so proud of everything I do with The Creation Station. Whether it’s helping new parents and their babies create precious keepsakes, letting little ones explore materials and make their own artwork through play, building confidence and skills through art in an after-school club, hearing children squealing with delight making their own slime, or offering fun-filled arts and crafts Holiday Camps – it all fills my heart and means the world to me.

Five things you may not know about me…

1. When my eldest daughter was a baby, I nearly opened an ‘alternative school’ in the island.
2. When I was travelling, I climbed an active volcano that was spewing ash in Indonesia.
3. I had a ‘blink and you’d miss it’ extras part in an American TV series once.
4. My favourite animals are cats.
5. I held a black belt in karate as a teenager.
