Meet Kirsty

Why I decided to run my own Creation Station…

I decided to run my own Creation Station business after the loss of both my parents and my mother-in-law in a very short space of time.  Life is far too short and I wanted to do something creative, that works within the community and brings some joy to people of all ages.  The Creation Station fits that bill perfectly.

What I did before I ran my own Creation Station...

Before Creation Station I held a plethora of part time jobs from GP surgery receptionist, to cleaning jobs and I even completed the majority of a midwifery degree!  Before Covid came along I volunteered at a community baby and toddler group, running the weekly arts and craft toddler activity.

What I love about running my own Creation Station…

I love the fact that this is my business and I can run the classes that work for me.  I am no longer missing school runs or precious time with my family due to long office hours or gruelling shifts.  I also get to meet so many wonderful people every single day and that always brings me joy.

Something you probably don’t know about me… I am absolutely obsessed with cute socks (bonus points if they’re Christmas themed!)
