Hedgehogs are a gardener’s best friend as they eat lots of snails, slugs and creepy crawlies. As the weather starts to get colder the hedgehogs wrap themselves up really warm and hibernate from November until March, ready to explore your garden again in the Spring after a lovely long sleep.
To protect itself against other animals a hedgehog has a very prickly spiky back. What exciting materials could you use to create your hedgehog’s spines?
