Wanted, Creative young artists to design winning Easter–themed logo
Creation activities for children could include getting little ones to draw patterns on to eggs and entering their designs online to create an Easter-themed logo for Woolworths.co.uk.
The online retailer has launched a competition to find a young artist who can get cracking on designing the winning logo.
Woolworths' classic red design will be given a seasonal twist, with the 'OOs' represented by a pair of brightly coloured eggs.
The entries will be assessed by a panel of egg-cellent judges and the winning design will be posted online on Thursday March 25th.
Matthew Jacques of Woolworths.co.uk urged parents working from home to join their children in getting creative over the logo.
"We want families to get together and get painting, but not just any old painting, we want them to paint eggs for our Easter logo and then send us pictures of their creations," he said.
Children can let their imaginations run wild as they paint eggs with eye-catching patterns and colours.
Parents can take pictures of the eggs on a white background and upload them onto the Woolworths' Facebook fan page.
The closing date for entries is Monday March 22nd and the winner will receive an arts and crafts goody bag.
