Achieving National Recognition from the Practical Pre–School Awards
The Practical Pre-School Awards have been designed to identify and reward excellence in the field of educational equipment, childcare books and toys, suitable for children aged birth to eight years.
The Creation Station put forward for assessment the Exploration sessions and their new ‘My Creative Calendar'. The sessions and the creative calendar were tested in at least two separate settings by children and their carers. Each setting provided a detailed evaluation as to the performance of the sessions and the calendar against set criteria. These criteria include;
- appeal to children,
- durability,
- adaptability,
- educational value,
- play values
- value for money
- and many others.
The Gold award is not easily achieved. It is a much coveted and meaningful award. Winning products need to achieve an average score of 85% or more to attain Gold. The stand is also high for silver 75-84% and a bronze requires 60-74% percent.
We are delighted to have been award a Gold award for our Exploration sessions and Silver for ‘My Creative Calendar'
